Can I Buy?

Can I Buy?

written by: Marija Najthefer Popov

Can I buy?
Peace?
Can I buy?
Tenderness?
How much
Attention?
What’s the price
Love?
Don’t tell me nonsense
About the freeness of everything
What do I need!
Don’t give long speeches!
Don’t repeat clichés!
Especially don’t get disgusted
To buy love and attention!
It all costs,
My friend!
All!
You pay with some values
Tangible!
Material!
With money and sacrifices
Checks and credits
With or without cover
With high interest rates
Endurance!
That is the living truth!
No barter!
Extinct!
Peace for peace!
Tenderness for tenderness!
Attention to attention!
Illusion!
And only love reciprocated?
Tragicomedy!
My friend,
Living in the clouds
Feels good!
Short!
The time has come
Some sudden moment
The clouds are parting
And below the abyss
Abyss
The abyss
All of the distorted images
Deception
False beliefs!
If you have the strength
Yes in that downfall
You pay again
You will get a quick credit of love
Which you pay in installments again
And you enjoy cheating!
Or face it
Open your eyes
Well you
And understand!
Everything is bought today!
It all costs money!
And while you’re paying,
It lasts!
