Combat of Time

Years melt into dilution
Faces of the past stare with resolution
Cramped in the corner of a bar
Notes ring out to shower the guiding star.
There’s brilliance in the consonants of our mind
Speaking clearly in the fights that stand
How to resolve ourselves to a narrow road,
When paths cross so that we can share the load?
Feminists, ecologists, anarchists all combat domination
So let’s make a resolution
To see in our fights a point of unification.
Words help me process what I experience in every step that I take, here and there. Polyglot, languages mix, their patterns, rhythms, melodies coexist to create authentic pieces. My poems are doors to my memory, each time I read them I am thrown back to the time and place I wrote them. Sometimes they express more than I meant, the magic of words.
