I live in the small town of Long Lake, Minnesota, west of Minneapolis. I worked many years as a sales and technical training instructor. I began writing seriously in 2011 by writing a poem a day for a year. I loved the process and stayed with, focusing on rhymed poems and haiku. In 2015 I met a fellow writer who encouraged me to begin writing short stories. I did. In early 2018 I submitted my first story on-line and it was featured on CafeLit. I have been off and running since then. Bridge House Publishing is releasing a collection of twenty-seven of my stories later in 2020. I love the process of coming up with an idea and creating a story that hopefully has both emotional impact and is interesting to read. I have no plans on stopping. Many thanks to Spillwords for featuring my stories, and thank you to those who read them and who voted for me. It is truly an honor to have been selected as Author of the Month.
