You had a name
full of strange ends
so quiet
Your love was a maze
from dawn to midnight
I hated the way
you could take me
erase me
My love for you
tears me down
Tiny pieces…

Running away
drove your bad veins
through town
The track marks
you make
made me love you somehow
I hated the way
you would chase me
deface me
Inhale me
like smoke
then drown
sucking all my air everywhere.
