to be a good time

to move a mattress today

I finally slept

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A deep blue starry sky. In the middle, a figure covered in a red blanket flies on a white mattress, eyes closed in sleep, brown hair flying in the wind, The blanket flutters like a cape. The figure, the mattress, and the blanket are rendered gesturally, but also in a piecemeal kind of way, an image put together from random chips and pieces of colour. The words of the haiku hang above the mattress in white Caflisch Script Pro Light.

I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
