a hot chocolate afternoon

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: An image split between day on the left and night on the right. Dividing these is a tower of soft yellow-pink steam emanating from a reservoir of cholate coloured liquid just below a rim of marbled white. Snow speckles the sunlit daylight side, while stars and nebula speckle the night. Sun sits in the top left corner, mostly shadowed moon on the far right just above center. Sitting just above the center of the image are the words of the haiku in Trajan Color font (appearing to be gold plated).

I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
