IMPULSE
written by: Ibrahim “dreezy” Idris
From the echoes of the mourners
I feel I’ve lost my life
As this garden of misfortune
Dims all my source of light
I keep hanging up lanterns
In a myriad of memories
As the pieces left of us
Lies in a forgotten gallery
I’m only acting on this impulse
Of your words so crystal clear
As I only remember them
Within dreams of my fears
