Autumn Love

written by: Eddie D. Moore

Morning light through a frosty windowpane.
A delicate white bloom among the fallen leaves.
New green grass escaping the heavy snow.
The garden wall giving shelter from the icy wind.
Golden clouds clinging to the sun’s final rays.
A single star dancing on a cloudy night.
You in my arms as the days slip away.
