NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A nebulous background of greys, shadows, and other neutrals, lit by a dimly glowing orb in the top right corner. The words of the haiku seem to flow from a distant spot in the top center of the image in white “Segoe Script Bold” font. In the same spot, a hand holding a pen is visible within the shadowy clouds. The paper it writes on stretches into the foreground. The writing thus far reads “Dear Nicky & Richard, Wishing You” in black cursive. In the background, a tubular whirlwind also emanates from the spot occupied by the hand, perhaps creating the clouds. The whole image has a faintly wrinkled texture, like paper.
