Laughter
A Poem
by Anne G
Smooth your brow
and frown no more,
your face will thank you
with a smile.
A grin that spreads
from ear to ear
and lips to mouth,
good vibrations from within.
Like a tickle it begins
slowly building
then out loud,
smirk to laughter – LOL.
Chuckles, giggles or guffaws –
infectious, giddy, silly sounds;
tonic for a weary soul,
laughter does a body good.
Life’s too short
to moan and groan,
tempus fugit –
laugh, laugh, laugh.
