Long Distance Love

Long Distance Love

written by: Cindy Coverly

The moments that I live for are when my dreams begin,
Because that’s when I dream of you.
The days feel abandoned without you beside me,
isolated and alone.
but when night falls,
we flee into the world of us,
where we meet each other’s arms and lips in heavenly bliss.
I hear your voice,
I see your face,
I feel the sweet taste of your kiss.
Then I open my eyes to a room,
filled with objects of my life without you.
Things I would trade in heartbeat.
It all seems empty, because missing you is a pain I can’t describe,
but loving you brings me back into a hope of a future with you.
My soul aches to hold you, to feel your warm embrace.
Sweet whispers in silly moments and kissing you all over your face.
My love…please know, that even though we are far apart,
Loving you is a journey we share,
for always and forever…till death us do part.
