i'm drawn to
delight in
seduced by
wherever she may dwell
love the way she shivers to life
beyond hidden eyes

in cool black and white
three long fingers
linger along
curves of chin, cheek
teasing a gentle pathway
slightly open lips
i'm rendered silent
silk perfect skin

Garbo elusive
intelligence i see
a quiet kind of beautiful
hinting duality
underneath shadows
wild whispers rise
mystery winks
Louise Brook's beauty
to me

The art is the photograph which inspired the poem.
