Our Feet and The Waves

written by: Jose A. Tovar

As we walk along the beach tonight
with the sand caressing our feet
and the waves soothing our hearts,
I take your soft face into my hands
and sing this poem:

The Moon must be your mother,
for you two heavenly bodies
share the same radiance
that shines hope into the future.
