Mother Earth, weeps in endless sorrow
Bearing the scars of many generations
Oil spills, deforestation, human destruction
Her heart aches, the loss of her children
So many gone extinct because of humanity
The growing list of endangered species
We put up a blind eye to our responsibility
Lacking respect for the planet we call home
