Tapestries of Tomorrow

Tapestries of Tomorrow

written by: Franci Eugenia Hoffman

sultry afternoon
citified concrete fractured
where everything blooms

long shadows longer
resistance stages its role
ribbons of light glow

where nothing can grow
one sole flower beats the odds
dandelion dust

I pen my visions
merge voids into harmony
nimble fingers ache

life’s fragility
connived resistance silent
poetic nature
