The Change

written by: Raphfael Wormge

As the words stop
So does the pain
And all that’s left
Is anger and hate

I must morph
Grow or change
Like the locust does
In late summer

My skin splits though
The monster takes over
All I can do
Is idly standby

As I watch
Control is lost
The monster’s released
Like a new locust
Being set free

Chaos ensues
Fire set loose
Hell breaks open

After the long day
Everything’s lost
Nothing to do
But fight
My thoughts
