The Girl Next Door

The Girl Next Door

written by: Norj Joseph

It was the heart of someone next door
That took away my miseries
Little did I know
“You were just sitting beside me.”

It was the heart of the girl next door
That made mine jump with glee
Unbeknown to me
“You’d put smiles on my big ugly face.”

It was the heart of a lady next door
That made me forget my own Belle
Unsuspecting dear me
“You captivated my heart so damn easily.”

It was the heart of my love next door
That I yearned so desperately
She was just sitting beside me
“Now, our hearts are just in one modest home.”
