The Moon My Playmate

The Moon My Playmate

written by: Deme Isaac

It shines so bright during the night
Its adorable eyes lie on the surface of the earth,
casting a shaped shadow on the other side
The cold dew drives away the strange wind
It stops the arrival of the unknown
The night is brightened and loved by the glimpse of the moon
She loves chasing the moon around the clouds
And goes to sleep while the astonishing sun rises.
