The Rotten Seed

The Rotten Seed

written by: Manpreet Kaur Popli

The reap is the result of what thou hadst sown,
The seed was rotten,
The one thou hadst sown.

The child thou didst raise was defective from birth,
No — that was the delusion that thy conscience had birthed,
The child was the seed that thou hadst sown,
Now thou shalt enjoy the ripened fruit that hast grown.

The child that thou didst wish to kill,
Thinking it was Satan,
almost a demon itself,
Is now going to ruin thy life,
So now thou enjoy the seed that thou hadst sown,
Thinking it was rotten to the core.
