The Singular Against

The Singular Against

written by: James Marchiori

The singular lost in the collective,
as in music, so in tragedy.
A glimpse of the ordinary as unacceptable.
Suffering is everybody’s condition
which we transformed
into an ecstatic experience.
An affirmation of life.
If music was silent,
the collective of logic
would run like blind ants.
