The Wake

We wake
With the sense
Of presence,
From a distant past,
Profound enough
To divorce our Self
From the immediacy

Having been conscious from early years, then experiencing a myriad of life's events including decades of teaching..... aeons of thoughts, images follow and cascade into these later years.
