Twelve Days of Christmas

Twelve Days of Christmas

Thankful for a season so joyous and magical
Wishing us goodwill, spreading love all over
Evergreen carols telling tales of Mary’s li’l child
Lighting up our darkness in the wintry nights so wild
Verily, a heavenly sign passed through ages to our midst
Enlightening us to see the Season’s beauty, amazingly blessed!

Despite the gloom surrounding us,
Angels of hope dwell in the air lingering o’er us.
Yuletide ushers in magical moments, with reindeer and
Santa Claus, a festive legend, merry and old; still so dear!

Ode to the Season that glows with joy, and cheers to
Fruitcakes and family reunions, and of course, Frosty the snowman.

Celebrations and ceremonies all over, let’s join too, in decking this
Happy Season with Christmas trees and wintergreens of holly and ivy
Rejoicing in the goodness of gifting love and happiness
Illuminating the darkest of souls and homes
Singing our old favourites, each note brimming with
Tidings of great joy, gratitude and wishing all mankind
Merry Christmas and peace to an ailing world.
As divine blessings and jubilation fill us with hopeful moments
Season’s warmest greetings and happiness, this I wish for you all!!!
