Waiting

Waiting

written by: Linda Joyce Cooper

Waiting, waiting, waiting,
for help to turn up
have they forgotten me?
did they get my message?
are they still coming?
shall I call them again?

Pacing up and down
I say to myself
Be positive – they will come, they know
wandering up and down the garden,
looking at the trees, how lovely they are,
and the pretty centerpiece in the middle of the garden.
Why should I worry,
let me quieten my mind and trust.
If I am silent the right thoughts of what to do will come to me.
