When I Awake To The Dunes Of Dawn
written by: Eddie Awusi
When I awake to the dunes of dawn,
and morning’s bloom,
Stirs with much ado,
and I hear the wind’s howl,
and crackle against the idle eaves,
and the pouring of vials,
of golden sunlight,
Ink into the face of the sky,
I wonder not to wonder.
