Why are you crying like that?

Why are you crying like that?

Hey, my dear why are you crying like that?
You woke up in the middle of the night
Why, my dear? Why are you crying?
You press your lips, do you refrain to cry?
You don’t want to make a noise at midnight
You don’t want any thought
Any feeling to come
Up to your eyes, make your face flush
Bottom to top
But it does
Cuz love, I know why you are crying like that
Will you answer the questions
From swelling of the eyes?
Or hide behind a few locks of hair.
You will be in another world
That you set storms
To the one who intends to talk
And now you don’t care
For under-eye bags
Cuz now you know, it’s not worth
Not gonna change if you’ll have a red
Bloat out face
Darling, I know why you are crying like this
You wish that something stops you
Eases your pain
But there’s only you
Not anybody to salve you
They say life,
Is an adventure to take
Decisions to make
Gaining a pain
All by yourself
But hope,
What is bigger than life
Cuz that’s the source
Of feeling alive
Are you
Are you hopeless now?
But my dear, I know why you are crying like this
I know that you’ll be alive
Within a few nights
At nights
You can skip this world for a while
Taking you away in your dreams tonight
My dear, I know why you are crying like that
You just need some time
To cure yourself
You will wake with
Viscous crust round your eyes
Then I’ll know sandman
Sowed the seeds of dream
To your hurting eyes
My dear, don’t cry like this.
