two fiery orbs
floating in the dark
bore through the walls
of his eyes
in the wee hours
unable to move
a black cat jumps
on his chest
gasps loudly, heaving
as he leaves his body

She is also a member of the Write Your Legacy community in the Philippines, working as a medical transcriptionist in Singapore.
