The Kingdom of Not
Collaborating Minds
written by: Anne G and J.M.G.
Since the beginning of time, our time, we begin the quest for the kingdom of happiness. A spark is ignited within us. A spark which is wired into our circuitry, flowing from synapse to the very blood which courses through our arteries feeding our minds, bodies, and souls.
We embark upon this quest, our life’s journey, armed with hopes and dreams and the sincere belief that when we come upon the It, we will recognize it. This It, what is it? To each of us something different perhaps. Sometimes indefinable, ethereal, elusive, and abstract. Other times, palpable, reachable, attainable, and so we forge ahead with zeal, fervor, and vigor. We climb mountains, cross valleys, swim oceans, for rivers searching for that something that equates to our vision of happiness, fulfillment and success.
After a time our steps become slower, labored. We stumble and falter and begin to misstep and doubt ourselves. We make excuses, and convince ourselves that we need not continue. That all is for naught. We become complacent and lazy, satisfied with half measures, the unfinished and the incomplete. The quest comes to an abrupt halt. Tragically, our journey ends where our hopes and dreams go to die.
To The Kingdom of Not.
Enigmatic writer, that believes in writing what should not be forgotten.

Why write? I write because I am: Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live. Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference. My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
