Lady Moonlight

Lady Moonlight

written by: Kayleigh Merchant

A force to be reckoned with,
She waits until the moon kisses the sky,
That’s when she comes alive
Counting stars and how they align,
remembering days of survival
when people laughed and taunted her vile,
Deep in her mind played songs of symphony,
awaiting the day of victory
Waving the flag of lgbtq
a moment to rule,
standing her ground
from root to branch of her poet tree, the right to be herself stood with courageous stance
You dare a glance?
She is a kaleidoscopic
mirroring of colours reflecting personality. She’s sparkly and full of imagery, Her youthfulness soaring through an inner sense,
eyes sensually making her story.
