Questions To Our Creator
written by: theRavensproctor
I had a dream, maybe a thought
Shuffling in my nuances
A neon circle, unfolding in soft darkness
Questions beyond questions:
Why let life grow into death?
Why give color, if it breeds hate?
Why make man in image?
If we do nothing, but destroy?
So are you, not destroyer
Artist of artistry
Of my tepid brown-ness
Of my mind trapped
In blue skies, grey clouds
Concrete ceilings, destroyed asphalt
Walking hell, leading to heaven
Why make us?
Dust, subservient to sin
Why give us curse for gift
And scream we’re free
If we are captured
By choice
Of good, of evil
