If you were given the chance
Would you rather
Have, had, and lost
Or never have at all

If you would have, had, and lost
then you The Moon
Which shines brightly one night but then loses its glow soon after.

If you would have never had at all
Then you The Sun which
never has anything at all.
No phases, nothing.

And I saw your face and hands
Colored in sun and then
I think I understand
Why you are The Sun
And I am The Moon
