A Gift II

A Gift II

written by: LUZVIMINDA G. RIVERA

It is bright and gay sky
Starry night looks enchanting while
Moon with its beautifully crafted trenches and
Chirping crickets is pleasing to the ears
Creating a loquacious night
Till the break of dawn.
Come, the beautiful night is pleading
Let us drink the water that
Runs to the rivers that mend
Broken hearts and souls.
Oh, Let us endure to treasure
“A gift” that tried to be vanished but
still breathing and continues to
Give life to the broken hopes and dreams
Bridle the lost course and
Give meaning to a lost soul.
Oh, Let us endure to treasure, “A gift”
Come the beautiful night is pleading.
