You Don’t Get To Kiss Me

You Don’t Get To Kiss Me

written by: Jessica Moore

Once long ago, you told me how you loved me so.
Your hand in mine I thought would last, who could’ve known the stormy forecast, dark clouds was all you ever cast. Leaving me cold, alone at last.
You drug my heart Thru the fire, threw me face first in the mire, nothing to me seemed so dire but as foretold my love would expire

You my love was all I thought about, but your love I had to live without
How was ur love ever fair, you walked along without a care, don’t say you love me don’t U dare, your love just always left me bare.

I fell too hard and long, but I know now where I belong. Not in your head… not in your bed, so NO you don’t get to miss me.. no you don’t get to kiss me.

Now You stand there with that look in ur eyes, the one that used to sooth my cries, expecting it to work this time, as if you were ever mine.
But oh no not ever again, will I let the cold air in. It’s time I left you in the past, where your miss me’s never last.
In your mind was the only time,
You ever loved me, you can’t see how you left me be, without ever truly loving me, so no my dear you don’t get to miss me

I fell too hard and long, but I know now where I belong. Not in your head… not in your bed, so NO you don’t get to miss me.. no you don’t get to kiss me. You don’t get to miss me
