Hand in Hand

Hand in Hand

written by: Susan Quinn

Hand in hand, they walk together,
Speaking of the grass, the trees, and the rest of life forever.

One is an adult, and one a child,
Yet both in tune with each other,
They walk along the sidewalk,
The day soft and mild.
Their hands seal in the warmth without a smother.

Time spent inside and out,
Doesn’t really matter.
As long as they are together,
To be safe and content,
And have no desire to go faster.
