Getting a bike ride

a toast to getting older

No complications

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: An amber sky, golden in the center, rust at the bottom corners, and shadowy in the top corners. Stars scatter across the expanse. The haiku sits in the upper middle in white Bickham Script Pro Regular font. Just below this, the slanted, triangular shape of a roadway with a streak of exhaust lingering in the wake of a distant rider points from the center left to the center of the golden glow and the words of the haiku.

I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
