A PROMISE
written by: Parminder Kaur
A PROMISE, frequently made and rarely kept,
Like tears they are easily swept.
Full of swears and hefty words,
Cage the soul of the innocent birds.
Brutally crushed and utterly eroded,
All the more we stand exploded.
Noises are many but still unheard,
Visions in magnificence of the world are largely blurred.
Keep them all or accomplish none,
Looming around they often remain undone.
So keep it dear and never give it a miss,
Because it is bound to keep A PROMISE.
