Always Lost

It’s always lost
Ever – looking
Even in hard
To reach spaces
Never here
Nor there
Always struggling
And fighting
Like squirrels
Losing nuts,
On those cold
Winter days.
Never remembering
Every spot,
Only the
Major areas.
Like me
Most days,
Never trying
And always finding;
Something other
Than my mind.
