Amidst Nature I Find Peace

Amidst Nature I Find Peace

written by: Preety Bora

Amidst nature I find peace
My words break the silences through the woods
Laced with autumn breeze
In the jungle of my thought
I dive deep into the depths
Rainbow colours vividly shine
Shooting desire anchors in eyes
Pain leaves the nest sprinkling dust of gold.
Lullabies keep quiet inside the soul
In between light and darkness
The heavenly flowers bloom,
Drenching my heart with moistened dew,
Driving the homeless wind
With tip toe my words hit
the walls of silence at once
Which fills my heart’s chamber.
With healing thoughts
in the stillness of night
The moon shines happily
hiding her pain under the blue veil
I climb the tree trunks and branches
Watching the twilight hours
Singing bird echoes in the darkness
Cricket sings in unison behind the curtain
As I cast my eyes to the bottom of the sky
A piece of grey cloud stealthily creeps to the midnight wall
I unveil my thought to touch the sky’s breast.
