An Abundant Acre

written by: Aaron Marchant

One day, I'll get myself some land
and labour long, to win your hand
And I will plant romance sincere
that blossoms whenever you're near
And I will sow a seed of bliss
that ripens with our every kiss
And I will build a nest for two
to keep us warm the winter through

And I will nurture beauty's vine
until we're dizzy from her wine
And I will cultivate content
that grows with every hour spent
And I will plough a furrow true
that leads me home each day to you
And we will know that we've been blessed
to reap the joy of love's harvest
