Andrew spent his formative years in Washington State. Andrew discovered a passion for creative writing during high school, penning short stories and poems. Writing became a therapeutic outlet for Andrew as he navigated the challenges of foster care. Following graduation, Andrew enlisted in the army, serving four years as a paratrooper stationed at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina. The experience of putting his life on the line every day instilled a deep appreciation for the fragility of life and strengthened his faith in God. Upon completing his military service, Andrew returned to Washington and obtained a degree in general studies and a bachelor's degree in theology.
