BIPOLAR HEART

written by: Ayushman Jamwal

@Jamwalthefirst

HER PASSION IS PURE, DIVINE AND DANGEROUS,
A FRAGILE HEART SO FIERCE,
BLACK MAGIC WHISPERS NARCOTIC,
FEARLESSNESS OF A SPIRIT SO CARELESS.

HER DARKNESS IS A TERRIBLE THING,
A DISDAIN DAUNTING AND CRIPPLING,
INDIFFERENCE OF A FEVERISH TRAUMA,
THE TASTE OF ASH, NO IDLE DRAMA

HER HURT IS A SORROWFUL SIGHT,
AN INVISIBLE AND HEAVY BLIGHT,
SHE ONLY YEARNS TO RETURN TO A BETTER PLACE,
AM I FOOLISH TO OFFER AN EMBRACE?

SHE DECIDES TO LIVE BEHIND A GLASS WALL,
I LOOK AHEAD, LIFE MOVES ON AFTER ALL,
THE PHONE RINGS, HER NAME I DON'T IMAGINE,
SHE SPEAKS TO ME LIKE NOTHING'S HAPPENED

SHE OFFERS NO HAVEN, YET I WANT TO FALL,
DROWN IN THE BRIGHT AND BLACK, THE PRICE IS SMALL,
LIFE RENEWED AGAIN AND AGAIN, LIKE FROM ABOVE,
IS THIS HEALTHY, OR IS THIS LOVE?
