But Love We Must

written by: Dragonsilk

So much intolerance.
So many unkind voices, calloused minds, callous souls. So why let others feed our hate, feed on our fear.

How do we help and counter the spite.
How should we show that we care, that we share. How can we find a breathing space.

Where does love now live.
Where do we find a hand to hold, a heart that heals. Where can we be accepted for who we are.

But love we must.
Be what we are. Be there for each other.

Be the world for us all.
