Cold Winter Rain
written by: Liyona
Today’s serene sunshine
Left the cold winter rain
To breathe anew
With every fresh wind
That whipped against
My skin
***
I left the house
Hopeful to find a new
Adventure
In the wintry wilds
Of the great outdoors
***
Far above
In the clear blue oceans
Where wisps and feathers
Fly free
The black eyes
Of a soaring siren
Stole a glance
My way.
***
Every day
On this planet earth
I am always amazed
At the seeming
Synchronicity
Of the lovely living
Things that
Inhabit this place.
