Columbus Circle

written by: Edward Donnelly

A child walks the Columbus Circle line
Where her mom had given birth.
Left her abandoned swaddled in a tee shirt.

Passengers sometimes hear her cries at night.
Sometimes she walks the cars,
Tee shirt dragging
As she searches for her mom.
