Come Little Soul
written by: Susy Andrea Kamber
Come little soul, lay not your clothes down resting before eternity prescribes a place. Awaken and listen little soul, so that spoken words have meaning, so that what is seen is alive, so that the body exists as a human being, so that what you are joined with is complete. Come little soul, come back to us. Your soft breath is needed.
Susy’s work is a combination of edited photographs and written responses in the Ekphrastic writing style. A conversation combining images and thoughts that speaks a language of coexistence. The ideas she writes are for others to expand upon on a personal level. Susy’s entrance into photography brought her to a discussion of these said images. She uses a Leica D-Lux enthusiast camera with a fixed lens to capture the beautiful world around her. Susy sees her artwork as a giving of self to others and to interpret the world, both historically and sociologically.
