Comfort of The Blues

Comfort of The Blues

written by: Mike Turner

To face a time of longing
Hopelessness, despair
To shade into the blackness of the night

To sink into discomfort
Yet find hope waiting there
A faith that what is wrong will be made right

To know that love will conquer
When all is lost and gone
To shoulder pain and sorrow as you lose

Enduring all that follows
And wearily soldiering on
Such is the strength and comfort of the blues
You’ll find that strength and comfort in the blues
