Cracked silence
written by: Rhaster

Cracks in stone tables
bearing the ages
carrying sentences
thirst
in words encaged
Strained strings
keep connected
text in sighs
wisps of air
candle reminiscent
of silenced light
Toneless grey
an absent bow
an absent hand
connected silence
bearing dust
evanescent
Colorless
smoldering reminder
of a seeming still
In fading light:
flame and tune
both sound
instill,
Rhaster
I'm a Dutch poet (and an actuary) who once in a while tries to write poetry in English.
I love writing next to pictures of art.
And to stimulate the experience of thinking further....Great
