Crimson Moon

Crimson hued full moon
Beckons me, lures me
Into the silent night
With her monthly hold
The hunger burns
Deep within …
Endless
So hard to resist
When I can hear my victims
Hearts beating within their chests
Taste the fear riding upon the wind
The moon whispers to me
Filling my head with
Images of blood
Hot, Salty, filled with heat
Please … I will not
Cannot give in
To this craving
Or forever lose my soul
To the beast.
