DEPART; NOT TO DEPART

We depart.
But not our feelings.
Nights, we shared,
In each other’s cozy arms.
Fresh memories of days,
will always be there.
The rosy lips,
by which you kissed,
and blessed this thirsty,
will always enrich me.
The year just begun,
Alas! with the trauma of departure
will haunt.
But with the number of days,
passing by,
will ensure each other
that we are destined to meet again,
every night,
in dreams.
So I bid you farewell my inamorata
As we are the banks of a river,
that travels together but never meets.
But the water-Our emotions,
the cyclone-Our desperation,
the placidity-Our relationship
Ensures that we are together
Forever.
