I have not given up
I’ve just redone my flow chart
You see what had been
Was not working out for my causes
Some slight deviations
A tweak here and there
Will expose all the factors
Where to focus my care
First square for the promises
Some broken some flourished
Two black arrows behind it
Leads to outcomes divided
Then branching those off
Into yes or the no
Simple decision
I already know
Next there are two boxes for every damn felling
One filled with learning
One spilled over in yearning
Lucky for me
They are interweaving
So one becomes full
I’ll just rearrange the sequence
Each logical step in this measure of order
Has given me faith
That I’m still driving forward
So being the type who wants
What he wants
I’ll maintain and retain
This holy diagram of dispositions
Born in West Chester Pa in 1960 I have been inspired to begin writing again through my interactions with two people I care deeply about that are experiencing the torrents of mental illness.
