Fading Pictures

written by: James Bell

Looking at these fading celluloid pictures of you

Endless empty hours spent misremembering what became of we too

A feckless pickpocket memory declaring war on my own skin

But devoutly believing that someday soon I will begin again to win

As I step slowly back from our long since shared sin
